Futuro

We live through wars at every scale: internal battles, intimate battles, external battles that force us to question the future of humanity.
I care for myself; I care for my loved ones, my housemates, the animals around me, the plants, my surroundings, my home, my neighborhood, my territory…

Care is understood as an activity inherent to living beings, encompassing everything we do to sustain life on the planet. Sisterhood represents one of the most vital spaces within the act of offering care.

In these powerful and poetic images, Fabiola moves through the act of caring for her sister, Tita. Life unfolds there: the artist experiences a constant apnea within this bond and, from that place, questions the future in these catastrophic and uncertain times. We encounter Tita, whose vulnerability becomes something shared with her caregivers, revealing those invisible ties that reflect us as human beings.
