El Trueque

Through the stories of three women —Tatiana, Gema, and Fanny— the project explores barter as a form of economic resistance and community care in the face of the fragility of traditional systems.
Inspired by Andean cosmovision and practices such as ayni and ranti ranti, non-monetary exchange emerges as a support network rooted in reciprocity and collaboration. Far from romanticizing crisis, TRUEQUE documents how alternative economies arise to sustain life, question value, and propose other forms of social organization.
